This is a replacement set as the one I purchased a couple of years ago has stopped working. I don't know what part of the system has failed, so I bought another complete set so I can get trailer lights working again. I hope to get to diagnosing and fixing this coming weekend.

Not difficult to install. Took about an hour and a half. The paper instructions are not always so clear, but the eTrailer video library had just the right video that showed what to do really well.
Great product at a fair price. Excellent packaging. Very easy installation.
Everything was exactly as the included instructions displayed. It took about 90 minutes start to finish with only hand tools. No helper or jack needed.
Although the hitch itself fit the vehicle precisely, I had to remove the towing mount due to it overlapping the frame where the hitch mounts. Not a big deal as the tow truck guy can hook to the new hitch instead.
A note which will likely be frowned upon by eTrailer, if you want to avoid removing the rear threshold, the trim piece, and the cargo compartment, and the huge speaker if installed, there is an alternative.
If you pop off the access grill in the rear side panel, you can carefully cut the nonessential plastic out (using care not to remove the outer area where the grill plugs in) with a heated razor knife, you can easily access the harness plugs.
The only negative was after paying extra for three day shipping, with a limited window to install it, it took FOUR full business days to receive.
Overall, a great experience!

It took me more than an hour to install the hitch and wire harness
Watch the video how to install . It very easy to install but you going to need a second set of hand to hold the hitch up .
It was really easy to install and the video showed every step perfectly. I used the zip ties for the plug until I get the mount kit. The only thing is it didn’t come with a self tapping screw.
Watched the installation video and when I installed the wiring harness, it was spot on. Smooth installation. I do control electrical work at a automotive plant and the quality of the parts was equivalent to the parts I use at work. We have high standards on what we use. Great experience.
The Draw-tite Max-frame hitch receiver arrived on time and was installed within 30 minutes. The wiring harness that was purchased with the hitch was just as easy to install. The installation videos were on point and very helpful.

The products have certainly served our needs, and we are very pleased with our purchase.
When I opened the large hitch box, I looked down and I could see the harness and plastic bag with harness parts sitting on the bottom. It looked like someone just tossed them in. Then I found the harness box taped to the underside of the hitch and the top of the box opened during shipment. No problem. Everything appears good with no missing parts.

The harness worked out well and still is. My son, who is a mechanic, installed the harness and hitch. It took him a few extra minutes to figure the parts out, but mission accomplished.
Don't follow the instructions for the wire harness watch the etrailer video .
The instructions leave out alot of details for installation of the wire harness.

Excellent best investment easy installation

I installed this wiring kit in my 2015 Pathfinder about a year ago. And, it works perfectly. I use it pulling my boat every weekend.
Part of the installation was a little tricky, but that's entirely due to the way Nissan wired the back of the vehicle. The rear access panel on the driver's side is pretty tight. Apart from that, the installation was easy. And, I found several online videos showing every step in detail.
I had a tough time chasing the weldnut holes in the frame as they were corroded. That took me about 3 hours. Torqueing, oiling, heating, backing out, starting over. eventually got the holes prepped. This was no fault of etrailer, though. Once the 6 holes were prepped, I was able to install the hitch in less than 15 minutes with the help of my son.
The electrical wiring took about 2 hours. Not difficult, just time consuming with having to remove a number of interior body parts. I used the on line videos instead of the written instructions that came with the wiring kit. The video was precise and if you follow every step, you will have no problems. Everything worked perfectly. Doing this myself saved me over $300.
This wiring harness kit is perfect for a diy install job. The part that really makes this kit worth it is the accompanying installation video provided by etrailer.com. I definitely couldn't have installed this myself without the detailed info provided by this video. Once I knew where these parts went on my Pathfinder, and how to get there, it really was a diy job.
Easy to install; however, I deviated from the website's video instructions as to the installation of the relays. The video suggests the removal of the rear cargo bin and to then remove a bracket to access the wiring for the relay. The rear bolts holding the bracket in are VERY difficult to access, so I chose to pull back the interior panel at the rear taillight. This method of accessing the wiring harness was much easier than removal of the bracket as shown in the video.

The selection and order process was simple and I received the hitch, plug bracket, and wiring harness to fit my vehicle in 2 days with the standard free shipping.
The included instructions are a little vague and the pictures are too dark to make out what you are looking for but anyone who is even slightly handy can figure it out with minimal difficulty.
Overall, the installation was easy and uneventful. I would have given 5 stars if the pictures that came with the instructions were clear.
the order came quickly and without issue . the installation was quick and simple . (my third e trailer hitch installation on three different vehicles in 8 years) now to the problem .... after mounting the hitch on my 2015 infinity qx60 , i noticed something odd. the receiver is not plumb with the bumper . the driver side tube of the draw tite hitch is lower than the right side , not as obvious with nothing in the receiver , but i have a bump step that is 10" long and flat as a step , it shows how much it is out of plumb ....i dont know what to de except shim the right side to even out the difference . HELP
Installed a new trailer hitch on my 2017 Pathfinder in about 1.5 hours. Worked great and has enabled me to tow u-hauls or simple stuff like bike racks. Good product.
